Faking Vectors
Level: Beginner This is a really old tut

Open your image in PS, you can use the one I'm using. Right click & save as.



Go to Filter - Artistic - Cutout - and use settings below or adjust until you get a good vector look:



This is your finished result below:



Here is another finished one and if you have the Dreamy FX Filter & Dreamsuite using soft focus you can give them a really nice effect.

That's really great, but not only the faking part... Let's take this further a little.

Consider you import your "fake" vector image into SwishMax. Now trace it (It's a lot easier like this) and then blend in the edges! There you have it! The greatest vector work of your life bigwink.gif

I sincerely have no patience for vectors i find them very time consuming, but thanks for the tips smile.gif
