Step 1:
Open the first background image and then open dancer.jpg.
Step 2:
Duplicate the bottom image (dancer) and delete the original. Then hit the W on your keyboard to select the magic wand tool and set tolerance to 100.
Step 3:
Select the black on the image and press delete.
Step 4:
Copy this layer to your background.jpg by selecting the move tool (V) and drag this layer into your background layer and rename the layer to dancer.
Step 5:
Duplicate this layer and rename this layer to reflection.
Step 6:
Set the opacity of this layer to about 59% to get a nice transparency.
Step 7:
Add a vector/layer mask to this layer and then select the gradient tool (g). Choose a black to transparency gradient and make a selection with your mouse of the area which you want to fill in with black. You can try this a couple of times if you want to get the best result.
Step 8:
Now to get the reflection of the light, which you see on the background, on the legs you select the dancer layer and set a hue/saturation mask to this layer by pressing cntrl+U. Set the Hue to +32,
the Saturation to +9 and Lightness 0. Now it seems like the light of a fire is reflecting both the ground and the dancer.
