In this tutorial I will show you how to create a nice logo in just a couple of steps. You can also use this tutorial to create your own logo, based on your own inspiration!

Step 1: Drawing the circles

Open a document (400px, 400px, white background) and select the Ellipse Tool (U). At the top of your screen you can set fixed dimensions.

Draw three circles with the following dimensions:

colour: #3366CC

circle1: 200px, 200px
circle2: 100px, 100px
circle3: 50px, 50px

For each circle, add an outside border, with these settings:



Position your circles like the picture below, and merge them. (Set the background to unvisible, click on one of the 3 circles and press Ctrl+Shift+E).

Step 2: Adding effects

Double click on the 'circle'-layer, and add the following effects:

Step 3: Adding text

I added the text 'BLUE CIRCLE' with the following character settings:



For BLUE, I used the colour: #ffffff
For CIRCLE, I used the colour: #3366CC

Very nice outcome, this is one of the best logo tutorials I've seen.
