This Is What We're Creating:

In this beginners tutorial you will be creating a nice Sunny Side up egg! Complete with glossy yolk! Sorry folks no bacon lol
1. Start off by creating a new document (File -> New) Set width to: 500px height: 500px, make sure you have a white background and DPI is set to 72.
2. Click the Pen (a.k.a Path tool) from the Tools menu on the left:

3. Set your settings to the following (cropped to save space):

4. Click and drag the mouse to create different points on the outside the white of the egg (albumin) and click the first point to close the path, you should have something like this (but bigger):

5. Now select this new shape layer in the layers palette and at the bottom of the layers palette click the "New Layer Style" button and then choose "Bevel & Emboss" as shown below:

6. Now set the bevel emboss settings to these:

7. Tick the "Drop Shadow" box on the left of the Layer Styles dialogue and set the drop shadow settings to the following:

8. Now choose the "Color Overlay" layer style and set the colour to #FCFCFC.
9. Using the same method as for the egg white create the yolk except in the "Pen Tool" settings set the pen colour to #FFC015 (create a new layer before making this change or it will affect the egg-white layer). This time you will want to make the yolk alot more rounded so try not to have more than 4 or 5 points, you should end up with something like this:

10. Set the Layer Styles to the same as the egg-white except don't give the yolk a colour overlay.
11. Create a new layer and choose the brush tool.

12. Set the brush to "Hard Round 9px". Set the foreground colour to white. Draw a small line like below on the yolk:

13. Finally change the opacity of the gloss/shine layer to 22%:
