Abstract Sig Banner

Firstly load up your photoshop and make a new 390 x 140 sized sig. Make sure its RGB colour and that white is ticked.

What i did that made my background so go a head and make yours, i used brush's to make then i light grunge. Make sure the colour flows (fits) with the colour your render/shape thing is. For the one i made i used this one which i will use now

This was done by Bratzer, not me, so credit goes to that guy.

Anyway back to the background, if you use the shape above, i suggest, when you have completed the back press ctrl+u and change the colour of the background to

187
81
0

Now thats your background complete! This is what i got.

Now to add your shape, simple drag the layer of the shape on top of your background layer. Move it to where you want then magic wand tool all the green parts out. Until you just have the shape and the visible background behind this.

Like so:

Now, personally i like the way it is. If you want to add extra's to this before the font. Go ahead and do so. However for this tutorial purpose's we'll leave it like that.

Now for the font, add it in the right hand corner. I choose the pixel font, 04b_03b. Now on the text, go to layer, layer style then click on blending options. Now do the following:
colour overlay to white
Stroke 1 px black
Outer Glow This is optional, however for the purpose of this tut. click it and leave the colour the same, change the spread to 6 and size to 18.
Press ok, now your sig should look something similar to this:

Make sure the font layer is on the top. Other wise it won't be visible.

Now for the border, press ctrl+a this should select the whole sig. now press shift+ctrl+n to make a new layer. With the sig still outlined, go to edit and stroke.

3 px black
then back to edit and stroke and make it 2 px with the colour 0FC4A4 or one that matches the colours of the sig.
And finally edit stroke 1px black. This has now added a nice border for ya.
So it should now look something like this:

Well thats your sig done....what? you want to know about the avatar too? Oh ok then very well lol

Go to file new, 120x120, RGB colour mode, and make sure whites ticked again.
Now with your sig you have done, move the background layer over, the shape layer and the font layer over, but leave the border layer where it is. So move the first 3 layers over. Move them around so it fits, until you have something like this:

Now just add a px border like border like before, ctrl+a then ctrl+shift+n. Make sure the avatar is select and do edit stroke 3 px black press ok. edit stroke, 2 px 0FC4A4 press ok. Edit stroke 1 px black. Just like before. And there you have you avatar and sig. victory.gif

which together should look lik this:
