Modern Text Effect

Heres a quick easy tut for you guys smile.gif I used it to make a yearbook poster at my school... I thought it looked cool so I'm posting it...

This is the image you will be making:

1) Open up photoshop, what ever size you'd like.

2) Get out the type tool. Type your name, or your text in about 60 font, with a modern looking font. I used the font "chaney", but heres one called "earth". Color the font "WHITE".

3) Open up the blending opitions.
a) Add an Outer Glow Size 3 px.
b ) Set the contour "cone"

Add a Bevel and Emboss
a) Size 2.

4) Press ok. Then Duplicate the layer. Layer > Duplicate Layer

5) Right click on the duplicated layer and rasterize layer.

6) Drag the layer below your original text layer.

7) Press CTRL+T to go into free transform. Make it alot bigger than the original (like double at least) Hold shift to constrain proportions.

8) Set the opacity to 22% and the fill to 44%.

You are done :whistle:

Now you can add a background and use it for a sig or something smile.gif
