In this tutorial you will learn how to create your own brushes.

Step1. Create a new document 100x100 with a transparent background.
Step2. Now using any tool create an image that you would like to using as a brush. I am using a 2 euro coin.


Step3. If you have more than 1 layer, go to Layer-> Flatten Image
Step4. Go to edit-> Define Brush. Give your new brush a name.

Create a new document, choose a colour, use the brush tool and choose your brush and brush away, here is my result in a few different colours:
