Here is a tutorial fo a simple abstract sig

1) Create a new photoshop document 420x120 pixels in RGB Colour mode with a white background.

Press D to reset your colours to black and white.

2) Select the gradient tool with linear gradient and difference mode.

have some fun and go mad with it, but dont make it to black.
here is what i ended up with

3) Next go to Filter>Styalize>Find Edges

4) Now Add a some text on a new layer and rasterize it.

5) go to layer styles and use these settings.

press Ctrl+E to merge the layers

6) Go to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation, click colourize and play around untill you get a coulur your like.(you might have to unlock the layer first)

Hey how did you get your font to be darker than your backround and how did you make your background curve like that...I'm new to photoshop so I gotta learn thumbsup.gif

I added drop shadow and inner shadow,and outer,and inner glow.I'm not so sure but try those.Im pretty new to photoshop too shades.gif

Its pretty hard to explain how to make that kind of backgrounds cause it is different every time when you make one.
