here is what you will be making
now on to the tutorial.
1.open your signature,avatar, or whatever you are putting the animation in. Here is what im going to use.
You may use or keep this sig, just dont say its your work.
2. Put the font on the picture that you want to have animated. here is what i have at this point
You can not really see the font right now, but the animation will bring it out.
3. Creat a new layer over the font. (Layer>New Layer or Shift+ctrl+n)
Your layers should look like this.
4. Now go to (Edit>Fill or shift+f5) and choose patners, and clouds
5. On the new layer that has the pattern filled, press ctrl+g.
it should not be visible and you should be able to see your font now.
this is what my picture and layer looks like at this point, yours should too.
6. Now jump to image ready (File>edit in image ready or Shift+ctrl+m)
7. Now you should have your animation window open, if not click (window>animation)
Now duplicate the current frame, here is how to do it.
8. Now make sure you have the second frame clicked, and then move the cloud pattern over.
Here is what it should look like when you move it.
9.Now on the animation window, click the button that looks like this: (>), then select Tween.
use these settings for the tween window
10. Now press (Ctrl+alt+P) so you can preview it in internet explorer.
11. File>save optimized as
your finished aniamtion should look a little like this
