Greeting Cards - Basic Beginner

Finished result:

Step One:

This will teach you easily how to use the Vizros Plugin to create greeting cards quickly in PS7 when your on the hop.

You can also grab this in our RSS Feed :: Here ::

You can obtain the Vizros Plugins from :: Here ::

Install the Vizros Filter Plugin into your plugin folder, when you first open it, you'll be asked for the registration key so make sure you have it ready to add, this is a free plugin, after you have registered shut down Photoshop and re-open.

Step Two:

You will need 3 images all the same size for your card to begin. The images I am using are all 350x414 in dimension and already pre-made from photo frames with some text added.

Step Three:

Open your first image, the first one will be the one we will be adding a curl too.

Step Four

Go to Filter - Vizros 4 - Book

Step Five

Follow the settings I have below:

As you will see from the settings above, Turn Page is where you want to begin, next use the drop down and choose: Fore Page - (this is the image under the Turn Page) click the New button under image and go to your folder to choose the image you want, use same settings as above. Now use your drop down selection again and choose Back Page click the New button under image and go to your folder to choose the image you want, use same settings as above.

You should now have a greeting card looking something like this:

Thats it finished, great little gadet for creating a quick easy greeting card, if your not very artistic just create 3 images filled with a color and add some text, maybe choosing one image as a main photo.

Excellent looking card you have there, Trueer. And a rather nice tutorial, as well. biggrin.gif

Nice tute. A note to members with Photoshop CS2, the warp effect that was created for the page can be done using the warp tool from the Edit-> Transform menu and then you can use free transform to squash it!

Greeting Cards can be as many pages as you want them to be, take a look in the shops next time you pass.

You can also not add a fore page then you have 2 smile.gif
