Here is a short tut how to give you an idea to create a logo of well-known SCG wireless ISP.

Wanted logo looks like that:

1. First create a new blank transparent page with dimensions 450x150 (File/New).

2. With Horizontal Type Tool create a custom text. I was use txt label ABAKUS. *note better effect is if you useing a BIG letter. (Arial Black/Italic/72 pt/ Smooth)

3. Now you need to apply some effect on your text.

4. Resterize your text layer

5. Select area with Rectangular Marquee Tool about inside edges of letter B and delete it.

6. Create a new txt label .net. *note better effect is if you useing a SMALL letter. (Arial Black/Italic/34 pt/ Smooth)

7. You need to apply just two more effect - Outer Glow & Bevel and Emboss.

8. Your logo is finished.
