Step 1 Save the brick wall .jpg fileClick to view attachment to your directory then open it.

Step 2 Type some graffiti text on it with your desired text color. This is the font i used for sample - Bored Schoolboy.

Step 3 Now rasterize the text layer by right-click the text layer > Rasterize Layer...

Step 4 Ctrl+Right-click the text layer. Go to Select > Modify > Expand > 2 pixels. Now make sure your foreground color is your text color that you used just now. With the selection still there, right-click it > Fill... > Foreground color. Then you can deselect it. You should have something look similar as mine.
Step 5 Lets continue to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur.

Step 6 Duplicate the Layer 1(bricks layer) and move the layer copy to top. Then go to Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options.

Done! Look at mine:

You can make other variations yourself too.

I noticed the HUGE psd file at the end of your tutorial. I opened it and it was only a brickwall so I've converted it to JPG so that it doesnt waste as much of our bandiwdth and its quicker for users to download.

Oops, actually i edited the tutorial, at first it should be a step using displace filter, but i remove that step and replace with the duplicated layer... and i forgot to remove the upload... sorry...
