Image used with permission from: http://www.neystadt.org
You should not reproducing/copy it for any other goal other than this learning tutorial.

Paste it to ImageReady

Cut it to correct size by using the Marquee Tool Shown below

Put some Text on it Ive used my Username WKDShots
Now we need to switch to Photoshop hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys and press ‘’M’’
This will take you to Photoshop

Then once you have your banner and your happy with it then we cam begin to add the rain go

1. Then go to Layer > New > Layer… [Ctrl+Shift+N] A box will come up, Click Ok

2. Then we need to make it black so make sure your background colour is black Like so

Then cover the layer by pressing Ctrl + Backspace your image should look something like the one above

Then go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise
Here are the inputs

3. Then click ok, your image should now look like this

Then go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur and here are the inputs

Then click Ok Your image should look like this

4. Then press Ctrl+L a box should appear then add the following inputs

The click Ok Then repeat steps 1. to 4. 5 times

Now we need to go Back to ImageReady so press Shift+Ctrl+M
Should take you back to ImageReady

Now for this tricky bit if you don’t have the animation box open go to Window > Animation should have a box like this

Once you have done that click on the first frame and go to the layers box to the right

The you have to link each of the layers to the frames

So the first frame would be linked to layer 2

The second frame would be linked to layer 3

The third fame would be linked to layer 4

Then click play and watch it rain victory.gif

On a side note, I HATE how the shift-ctr-m is the image ready button, I always press shift-crtl-n to get a new layer and hit it!!
