Rustic PiratesTreasure Map

Ever wanted to create burnt paper? or make something look like an old Rustic Pirates Treasure Map? Well heres your chance.

This tutorial is very easy and probably the shortest tutorial I have ever written so here we go.

First start with a new canvas size 500x500 in pixels.

Next take the Rectangular Marquee Tool image And draw a rectangle with the approximate size you would like your burnt sheet of paper.
Next create a new layer by going to Layer > New > Layer at the top menu or press Shift+Cntrl+N and you can name it paper back
Next thing you need to do is take the Paint bucket image and fill the rectangle area with the color #d9952d on the layer that you just created.

Now this part is all you, basically what you do is take the smudge tool image and smudge the edges until it looks as if it is ripped on the edges. Here is what I got:
